Woodblock hand-printed animal Rooster (Small)

The wood-cut printed animals are made by "Shinkogei", a woodblock studio located in Hida Takayama's old town, the north region of Gifu. The town is known for its history and tradition of "Ichii Wood Curving" and "Hida Shunkei"(Lacquerware). Each animal is hand-made and attracts us with its lovely face and warm colors. They'll fit well in various style home. 
The pattern of this toy has the image of chicken being born in the field with myosotis and purple clover in full bloom.
